  • COVID Testing Financial Policy

    Due to the limited appointments available all fees paid are NON-REFUNDABLE. Insurance is billed for screening/office visit performed in the car at the time of the swab and a COVID Specimen collection fee under the parent company, Urgent Care at Newport Center and the 3rd party lab may also bill for the PCR specimen when referred.

    I am aware & understand that it is at the Lab’s discretion to reprocess the specimen, due to an inconclusive result and the test may need to be re-processed with a delay receiving test results. There will be no refund if the laboratory needs to re-process the test. Re-processing of the tests will typically be delayed 24 hours/next day. Newport Center Urgent Care will not be held responsible for any kind of financial loss due to the delay of your test results.
